Martin van Staden is a South African jurist, author, and policy expert with a focus on libertarian principles and classical liberalism.

He is the Head of Policy at the Free Market Foundation and a Doctor of Laws (LL.D.) student at the University of Pretoria.

Martin has presented before South Africa's Parliament, contributed amicus curiae briefs to the Constitutional Court, and written extensively on public policy, economics, and legal theory.
